Ristoro Genio
We are a mountain restaurant located at 1,550 m a.s.l. on Alpe Giumello, in the Municipality of Casargo (LC), Upper Valsassina. Inside our venue you can also purchase typical alpine products such as cheeses (both cow’s and goat’s), pizzoccheri, local cornmeal for polenta, honey, and many other items sold retail—like cakes and yogurt, which can be taken away in convenient glass jars.

Rifugio Capanna Vittoria
Located on Alpe Giumello on the southern slopes of Monte Muggio (1,799 m), it is easily reached either by a paved road or via trails starting from Narro (a hamlet of Casargo), Mornico (a hamlet of Vendrogno), and Indovero (a hamlet of Casargo). These places are accessible both from Valsassina and from Bellano.

Azienda Agricola Fondrini
In the summer of 2016, the company moved— or rather, transhumed—to Alpe Giumello in Casargo, taking on the management of half of the alpine pasture as well as Alpe Chiaro in Vendrogno. The operation has a herd of around thirty dairy cows and produces cheese directly on the alpine pastures during the summer months.
